An enthusiastic and committed Tenor and Teacher of Singing with experience and involvement in all aspects of Music and Choral tradition. Currently studying with Malcolm King (Paris).

Singing Experience to Date:

Extensive concert, recital and opera work. A Handelian tenor equally at home in light opera and music theatre, with a very wide knowledge of English, French, German and Italian song repertoire. Recent song recitals with Anna Le Hair, David Smith, Mariko Terashi and Varvara Maggs, Rosemary Robinson. "Music in Caldecott Park", Rugby, with Jo Foote. St Peter's Church Wolfhamcote, recitals with Susie Allan and Clive Pollard. "(Beethoven's song cycle) was performed by Griffiths with full sensitivity and musicianship and with exquisite accompaniment by Allan, to a rapt capacity audience." "Griffiths voice and Pollard's playing were perfectly matched to the repertoire with a telling performance of Armstrong Gibbs' rarely heard gem, "The fields are full", and a soaring rendition of Ralph Vaughan Williams knock-out number, "Linden Lea". But the real treat was the Pollard cycle which formed the second half."

Stage career includes performances as Marco in "The Gondoliers", Nanki Poo in "The Mikado", Lord Evelyn Oakleigh in " Anything Goes", Frederic in "Pirates of Penzance", Motel in "Fiddler on the Roof", Richard Dauntless in "Ruddigore", Strephon (lolanthe), Bunthorne in "Patience", title role in "ldomeneo", Joseph in ' . . Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat', ; Capt. Corcoran & Ralph Rackstraw in 'H.M.S. Pinafore', Apollo in "Semele", tenor chorus in "The Fairy Queen", Don Basilio, Don Curzio & Don Ottavio in staged scenes from 'Figaro' & "Don Giovanni" (Floral Opera), Jacquino in Quartet "Fidelio". Concert performances: Walter Widdop, Parry Jones Frank Titterton & Heddle Nash in Serenade to Music (Vaughan Williams), Tenor solos in 'Messiah', Mozart's Coronation Mass, 1st Soldier in "Poppea", Operatic Duets from La Sonnambula & Die Lustige Witwe with Joanna Kunda, soprano, and Rugby Rococo orchestra.
